Yggdrasil Berries (ERC-1155) may be awarded upon a failed Merge attempt, matching the rarity of the Ragmons involved. These Berries are not in-game units but function as strategic enhancement resources that can significantly boost the success rates of Merge and, in some cases, Upgrade.

Key Properties

  • Success-Rate Equivalent: Each Berry is treated as a Level 1 Ragmon, applying the base success probability of the target level.

  • Usage Limit: Multiple Berries can be used simultaneously; however, their combined effect is capped by the success rate of the material Ragmons.

    • Example: If the material Ragmons have a 50% success rate, Yggdrasil Berries can only increase the total success rate up to 50%.

  • Randomized Quantity: Upon a failed Merge, the number of Berries received is randomly determined, ranging from 0 to a maximum defined by the treasury rate × accumulated value of the burned Ragmons.

    • Example: With a 50% treasury rate and an accumulated value of 50, the potential reward ranges from 0 to 25 Berries.

  • Eligibility: Yggdrasil Berries are granted only from failed Merge attempts. Upgrade failures do not yield Berries.

Strategic Role

Yggdrasil Berries help offset the risk of Merge failures and can be tactically applied to improve the odds of success in both Merge and Upgrade systems. By converting failure into opportunity, they support a more balanced and transparent growth system while preserving the long-term value of Ragmon NFTs.
